Candy Cane Trail at Freer Field, November 29, 2025 – January 5, 2026

Step into a world of holiday magic at the Ashland County Park District’s Candy Cane Trail, proudly sponsored by Grandpa’s Cheese Barn, and returning to Freer Field from November 29, 2025, through January 5, 2026. As twilight falls, the trail transforms into a glowing winter wonderland filled with thousands of twinkling lights, shimmering metal sculptures, and the sweet scent of pine in the crisp night air. Wander along the winding path as candy canes, stars, and trees dance with color, wrapping visitors in the warmth and wonder of the season. Families and friends can stroll beneath archways of light, snap festive photos, and make cherished memories beneath the sparkling sky. Best of all, admission is free — a gift from the Ashland County Park District and Grandpa’s Cheese Barn to the community, inviting everyone to share in the joy, peace, and magic of the holidays.
